For Your Information

I was just tagged by Afton, here it goes.....

What were you doing ten years ago? This is funny because I was just discussing it with this guy who called me. We went out ten years ago (ya, he just called for a second date- a little slow). In the past 10 years, he's been married, had two kids, and got divorced. My life hasn't changed much since our first date. I'm at the same job, living in the same area, still doing the single life of traveling and such. Funny.

Five Places I've visited.
1) Costa Rica - one of my favorites. I seriously could have just lost myself in the Cloud Forest and never contacted anyone again. It made me feel like nothing existed before going there. I also went on a horse back ride to a peak where I could see the Altantic and Pacific at the same time. I love Central America in general.
2) Senegal - Did a humanitarian trip to a village, Koussanar. Taught some adorable little kids (very little) English and spent time helping the Dr. in the clinic. Life changing trip- gave me a new perspective on what really makes you happy and how much stuff we really don't need!
3) Lake District, UK - We spent 10 days hiking around the Lake District. I felt like I'd just stepped into a Jane Austin novel (sans Mr. Darcy) or a Wordsworth poem. Enchanting!
4) Prague- Just spent a couple of nights there on my tour of Europe after college graduation. Met the literal man of my dreams on the train.
5) Israel- Went with mom, dad and Heidi on a tour. Truman Madsen was the tour guide. Definitely changed how I read the scriptures. Images of this trip flash through my mind often. Very inspiring trip.

Five things on my to-do list.
1) Go to Costco to get stuff for my trip
2) Figure out how to pack as lightly as possible (this may take a while-we're very limited on luggage weight flying to Cambodia, and I have to account for the shopping in Hong Kong) Ü
3) Clean my house (It's so nice to come home to cleanliness)
4) Check on airport hotel transportation options in Hong Kong and Cambodia
5) Go to the temple this week

I enjoy... lots of things. Recently, I've been craving movies but haven't had much time to see any.

Five Things You May Not Know About Me.
Please refer to list of 100 below. I don't know that I can come up with 5 more! (or that you really want to read any more) Ü

Ok, now I'm supposed to tag 3-10 people. I choose my family: Heidi, Steph, Darren, Kira, and Krista!

Who called? That is so funny! I'll get around to my "tag". Have to run errands first :)

Very cool, you were the first person I tagged to do this, so you win! I kind of thought you'd be too busy getting ready for your trip to do this, but like jell-o, there is always room for blogging.

Wow! I love all the places you've been and the things you've done there. The furthest I've been outside the U.S. is Tijuana. I know it's sad.

I'm getting too much homework from this blog thing...

I noticed Belize didn't make your list but Costa Rica did. Nicol has been bugging me about buying land in Costa Rica for months now. Maybe we could look at a joint investment?

I want to know who called too! Pretty flattering to call after 10 years! Maybe your the reason he got a divorce? Fun, my "Tag" won't be nearly as interesting as yours, but I will do it!!

What is funny is I think your life is exiting and mine is boring. I want to know who this guy is. I've known you for 9 years I think. Maybe I'll know him too.

It's just that guy Amy set me up with. And yes Darren we should buy land in Costa Rica! I debated about putting Belize or Costa Rica on my list. Both are amazing.
